 Welcome to Art Miami 2007.

 Art Miami 2007 marks the 17th edition of this much anticipated, world class event.

The 2006 fair – home to 130 galleries from 27 countries – welcomed increased attendance of 24,000 visitors, and many walked away with important and valuable purchases.  Be it master paintings, museum-quality works in glass, textiles and baskets, sculptures, or provocative photography, Art Miami delivered on its promise to feature works that are aesthetically accessible, affordable, challenging and investment-worthy.

Art Miami’s mission in 2006 was to improve both the level of the exhibitors and the quality of the artwork on display. Strong sales in all media were clear proof of our success. With so many exhibitors new to the South Florida market, we were equally pleased with the opportunity to introduce them to our sophisticated and enthusiastic visitors. Everyone enjoyed the upbeat atmosphere that has long been an essential part of the fair’s reputation, and this year guests were treated to live music during two evenings of the show.  Exciting off-site receptions and tours for exhibitors and VIPs rounded out the Miami experience.

Art Miami 2007—January 5-8 in Hall A at the Miami Beach Convention Center— will offer greater international diversity while continuing to highlight the dynamic Miami art scene. Special projects, curated exhibitions and outstanding panel discussions will ensure exhibitors and visitors alike of a most memorable, and profitable, journey to Miami Beach.

Everyone is familiar with the Miami area as a desirable resort destination - its hospitable beaches, hotels, restaurants and shops - but we can now boast unequivocally that the new local celebrity is Culture.
