Webism
Manifesto
Webism
The Webism Art Movement was founded by Pygoya in 1999. Webism is a movement where the primary medium is the Internet and the Web. As such, Webism is a dynamic and fluid entity. Webists participate in on-the-fly, ad hoc projects that come together at light speed in a joyful dance of exuberant enthusiasm.
Like all art movements there is a manifesto. The Webism
Manifesto turns our normal view of digital art on its head. From the Webist perspective the original work is the web based art and the printed work is a copy.

"I
am a modernist painter at heart, trained as such with a Master Degree in
Painting in Chicago. I Got tired of listening to criticism that Digital Art
Prints are not originals. So I invented "Webism"...

" I
work in a great many styles starting with 3D renders, but often ending up with something that no longer looks like a render. My stated goals may seem bold, but I've lived an unusual life, and I've reached a point where a floodgate has opened and I can not help but do art. I feel
driven".
